Holden Statesman and Caprice WH Series Specifications

Holden Statesman and Caprice WH Series Specifications

The Holden WH Series Statesman and Caprice were introduced as long-wheelbase luxury vehicles developed alongside the VT-based Commodore platform. The WH Series featured a distinctive six-window body design with revised front and rear sheet metal and updated tail lamp styling that differentiated it from standard Commodore models. The rear underbody structure was extended to increase cabin space and improve ride comfort for rear passengers, reinforcing the vehicle’s focus on luxury and long-distance touring capability.
In addition to the exterior redesign, the WH Series incorporated a number of mechanical and electronic improvements including revised front suspension, independent rear suspension as standard equipment and a new instrument panel design. Electronic vehicle systems were expanded with the addition of a body control module and ABS braking system, while an adjustable tilt and reach steering column improved driver comfort and control.
