Honda Motorcycles has a history that dates back to the mid-20th century. The company was founded by Soichiro Honda in 1948 in Hamamatsu, Japan. 

Honda's first motorized bicycle, the Model A, was powered by surplus generator engines left over from World War II.

This humble beginning launched Honda on a trajectory to become one of the world's premier motorcycle manufacturers.

Over the decades, Honda introduced many groundbreaking models that left their mark on the industry, from the Super Cub, which went on to become the most produced motor vehicle in history, to the CB750 that ushered in the era of the superbike in 1969.
