Ford Motor Company, founded by Henry Ford in 1903, is renowned for its pioneering role in the mass production of automobiles.

However, the company also has a rich history in the manufacturing of tractors that spans over a century. In 1907, Henry Ford began experimenting with tractors based on his automobile designs, leading to the introduction of the Fordson Model F in 1917.

This groundbreaking machine was the first mass-produced tractor in the world, revolutionizing agriculture by making tractors more affordable and accessible to farmers.

The Fordson Model F featured a 20 horsepower, four-cylinder engine and a three-speed transmission, setting the standard for tractor design in the early 20th century.

Following the success of the Fordson, Ford expanded its tractor line with models like the N-series, introduced in 1939, which included the 9N, 2N, and 8N tractors.

These models incorporated innovative features such as the three-point hitch system and hydraulic lift, further enhancing the versatility and efficiency of Ford tractors.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Ford continued to refine and improve its tractor designs, introducing models like the NAA, Jubilee, and the powerful 8000-series tractors.

In 1986, Ford acquired New Holland, a leading agricultural equipment manufacturer, creating Ford-New Holland. This merger brought together the strengths of both companies, resulting in a wide range of advanced tractors and farming equipment.

Today, New Holland Agriculture continues to build upon the legacy of Ford tractors, offering cutting-edge technology and solutions to meet the ever-evolving needs of farmers worldwide.
