The DAF 750, sold in Europe as the Daffodil, is the little Dutch car with no gearbox.. A two cylinder air-cooled engine sits at the front, and a pair of rubber belts carry the power to the rear wheels through pulleys that change size as you drive. It’s a design nobody else used, and it’s rarely covered in print.
